I’ll try to do you the favor of sparing you the boring shit and giving you only what you came here for… to learn about who the hell is this “Mike Friend” guy, right?

Don't take it so serious...
I love to joke around and be funny. Why? Because life is short and it’s meant to be enjoyed. The world is already full enough of serious, heartbreaking, and depressing shit, why add to it? I try my best to bring some humor and positivity to everyone I meet, whether in person or virtually. But most importantly to have fun during each waking moment.
I use this approach in the content I make and with the clients I work with. And to be honest, no one wants to watch boring shit online, right? People want captivating stories and entertainment, but most importantly they want to know that the few seconds they watched your video was time well spent.
But in all seriousness...
I grew up in Michigan, spent 9 years in the Air Force, 10 years in law enforcement, and 8 years in online marketing, affiliate marketing, website design, digital marketing, and video content.
I love the online marketing world, but I truly found my passion for video content strategy when I started creating my own content and helping our daughter build her own YouTube channel.
But as time went on, I realized that most content isn’t all that captivating. One food content creator makes a tomahawk steak with chimichurri sauce and before you know it your feed is filled with 100 content creators making the same damn meal!
Don’t get me wrong, I love food videos and show. I live for my next meal! But what I’m referring to is the actual videos themselves. Most are just narrated over. And while those are still effective today, I believe as a content creator you have to incorporate some other unique twists on videos to keep people coming back.
That’s where I come in!
